Macon Dog Park

The Macon dog park is a fenced in city block with separate areas for both small dogs and large dogs to explore. The dog park is a great place to let your dog make new friends while you make some too. Once a month the park host “Yappy Hour,” an opportunity for dogs and their owners to hang out.

Ocmulgee Heritage Trail

Take your pup for a walk down the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail. This beautiful riverside trail is the perfect place to relax with your furry friend. Enjoy a walk through Amerson Park or Central City Park. You can also check out Ocmulgee National Monument, Gateway Park, and Rose Hill Cemetery. This is a great place to explore with your dog!
